Creativity Trail Mix™                                        

This is an exciting 6-week, guided program designed to ignite your creative campfire! Through a variety of nature-based creativity exercises and guided discussions, you will create a truly personal work of art released from the depths of your creative soul—fed by tasty morsels of inspiration. Exercises will include simple yet effective assignments meant to push your creative boundaries.

Outdoor, natural environments will be part of your experience (either on site or as a recommended assignment). 

Participants will each receive a class syllabus with the group meet schedule along with each week’s planned local scenic locations (locations excluded in tele-classs series). Whether you are a nature newbie or a wilderness junkie, you will have the chance to experience nature as a powerful and inspiring tool. It’s your time to blaze a new trail for your creative voice by defining your deepest expressions and putting it into your art.

Creativity Trail Mix is a 6-week long series including six, 1-hour group classes per week. In addition to our class time, participants are responsible for weekly assigned “homework.” These are fun, insightful exercises to inspire creative release. Please plan an average of  5 hours/week for completing each weekly assignment. Some are much shorter, and for some…creative exploration will make your time fly! These exercises may contribute to your your final piece, but the suggested time allowance does not include personal time spent working on your final piece.

We will meet on-site (in the Coachella Valley area) or via a group tele-class (telephone), once a week for a total of 6 classes at a pre-determined time, for up to one-hour of guided group discussion with fellow participants. This is base camp. During this valuable time together, we will smash any creative blocks with trailside boulders and ditch your inner critic in a bear den—okay, we will seriously tackle any creativity busters that threaten your artistic output should they appear! We will also review the following week’s exercise(s) before sending you back out on the creativity trail.

This 6-week series is available as either an "on-site" class or via tele-class (telephone class). Please see the schedule below for upcoming dates and times.
