Creativity workshops for your group! These inspiring workshops are a great way to build creative awareness and camaraderie within your group through fun and engaging activities. (Please contact me for group workshop fee.)

Photo Safari Challenge (2-1/2 hour workshop)

This is a fun, timed event in the form of a photo-scavenger hunt. Participants have anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes to capture certain items or directions on their lists. As a timed exercise this is a great way to act on moments of spontaneous, creative thought--no time to over think or detail out your shots.

As a side benefit, you will capture visual proof of your creative process and interpretation, good, bad, and genius! For this photo safari you'll need to let go of perfection and give priority to those creative flashes you might normally let pass. This is an alternative way to open yourself up to the many facets of your creative nature and personal perspective.

This workshop is ideal for beginners to professionals, as teams or going solo. The Photo Safari Challenge is a flexible workshop, in that it is successful in just about any setting where people can access or walk around freely (although a natural environment is ideal). I provide all materials, however participants are responsible for bringing their own camera—any will do from digital, iPhone, cellphone cam, professional, to point and shoots, etc. If you’d like to bring awareness to a nature area, campus, park, or preserve, or if you are looking for an engaging activity to inspire your group, this workshop is the perfect opportunity!

Pop-Up Poetry (3 hour workshop)

Poetry is in each of us. This workshop will prove it! Not your ordinary poetry workshop, this one breaks all the rules. You need not have a poetic bone in your body to have fun and find yourself willingly immersed in creative--and yes, poetic thought! Learn about  liberating poem notes and create “instant-poetry” through a variety of unique exercises which we will complete during this 3-hour workshop designed to get your poetry juices flowing. Leave with fun, creative tools that will get you writing and seeing inspiration “pop up” in unexpected places! 

This workshop is particularly ideal for team building through a casual and encouraging approach. Your team will come away creatively renewed and with a newfound appreciation for fellow perspectives and ideas, and alternative ways of thinking. Participants should bring a notepad and pen/pencil. All other materials provided.

Let's meet and bring some of our favorite creative materials that we just can't seem to use up. Your junk could be someone else's treasure! RSVP requested.

Bring your own chair or blanket to sit on, water and your sketching materials. Bring flashlights, but we will NOT be using them during Meetup :) Red lenses (on flashlights) fine.

Please note most full moon meetups have a theme in addition to sketching. These are optional activities.
